‘Why I Burned the Outfit I Wore to Alexx Ekubo’s Funeral’ – Angela Okorie Opens Up
Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has sparked reactions online after revealing that she burnt the outfit she wore to the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo.
The actress disclosed this through her Instagram Stories, where she explained that she decided to destroy the outfit based on advice from her godmother, who warned her against keeping clothes worn to burial ceremonies.
According to Angela, the decision was made out of respect for the advice she received, and she chose to share the information with her family, friends, and followers.
“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you; you burn them,” she said.
The actress also shared a video showing the outfit being consumed by flames as she carried out the act. She added that it was a lesson she had only
recently learned and felt the need to inform others about it.
